Springfield, Mo. – The SBU baseball team finished their 2025 campaign Saturday afternoon in a tight loss to rival Drury Panthers 5-7, moving to 15-35.
Bearcats got on the board first scoring three runs in the first three innings.
Jared Pugrad recorded an RBI in the second while
Mel Mulholland began his strong day with a 2-RBI single in 3
rd. The Panthers bounced back scoring four the take the lead before a
Dominic Tellez RBI single in the 6
th knotted the game up at four. After a Drury run in the bottom of the 6
th, Mulholland tagged on his third RBI of the day scoring
Zeke Skinner. Panthers scored two more to take the win.
Cade Langford started on the mound throwing four innings with two strikeouts.
Jake Fuller (L, 1-4),
Conner Hammonds, and
Sam Peterson all saw time on the mound as well.
