New Orleans, LA. – 8 Bearcats earned All-Region honors for the 2025 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field season as announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross-Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) last Wednesday. These awards are given to the top-5 individuals in each event from each region, in addition to each of the members of a top-3 ranked relay team.
Both the Bearcat women's 4x100- and 4x400-meter relay teams earned the Midwest All-Region honor. These teams comprised of
Stephanique Dean,
Brianna Lord,
Laura Dixon, and
Collinique Farrington. Farrington added two more All-Region honors in the 200- and 400-meter dashes. Dean also snagged another award in the 200-meter dash. Another sprinter on the men's side,
Parker Love achieved two All-Region honors in both the 100- and 200-meter dashes.
Over on the field side of the events, the first Bearcats to ever qualify for Nationals of
Savannah Manthey and
Alexis O'farrell, each earned All-Region honors in the javelin throw.
Jayce Farrell, on the men's side, earned his first All-Region award in the discus throw after breaking his own school record.
Lord, Dixon, Dean, Farrington, Love, Manthey, and O'farrell head to Pueblo, Colorado this week to compete at the NCAA National Championships. These events will begin on Thursday, May 22nd.
