Box Score Liberty, MO - The SBU men's tennis team dropped their matchup against the William Jewell Cardinals 1-6, bringing them to 8-10 (1-3 GLVC). 
 
The Bearcats started out strong in the doubles battle as Juan Morresi and Alejandro Bravo were victorious in the #1 spot 6-4. The Cardinals however did receive the point after winning the next two matchups. In the #2 spot, Alex Crawford and Federico Riolo fell 3-6 and Cameron Cooper and Owen Kuchar lost 0-6 in the #3 spot.
 
The Cardinals continued this momentum by winning 5 of the 6 singles matches. In the #1 spot, Alejandro Bravo started things off by competing well in a (3-6, 4-6) loss. Juan Morresi came out victorious for SBU in the #2 spot by winning the first set 6-4 before his opponent retired. In the #3 spot, Federico Riolo retired giving the point to the Cardinals. Alex Crawford followed that up and battled, ultimately falling (2-6, 1-6). To round things out, Cameron Cooper and Owen Kuchar fell in two sets in the 5th and the 6th spot.
