4/11/2025 10:50:00 PM

Warrensburg, Mo. - The women's track and field team competed at University of Central Missouri (UCM) at the Mule Relays Friday. Two broken records and National marks helped lead the Bearcats to a 6th place finish.

The biggest mark of the day came from Bearcat sophomore Savannah Manthey who broke a school record in the javelin throw of 48.66 meters. This feat launched Manthey into the 5th ranking spot in Division-II and 2nd place at this meet.

Collinque Farrington, continued her impressive career running a 53.01 in the 400M dash, setting a stadium record. That time was a personal best for her and moved her into 2nd all-time in SBU history. Stephanique Dean was not too far behind the race, finishing the race in 4rd place and running a time of 55.70 seconds.

The Bearcat women's track and field team will return next week as they travel to a variety of locations across the country including California, Kansas, and Missouri.
