Warrensburg, Mo. - After a week off the men's track and field team returned to the track Friday with another strong performance taking 7th place at the Mule Relays.
The sprinters had an exemplary race in the 4x100 meter relay taking 2nd place with a time of 41.27. The team was comprised of Freshman- Jordan Noel and Dalvin Adams, sophomore Chase Thomas- Plummer and senior Parker Love. Love went on to win the 200m dash beating his previous school record of 21.02. That time is also good enough for 8th in the Nation.
Over to the field events, sophomore Jayce Farrell continued to distance him self in SBU history by breaking his own record in the discus throw. His mark of 52.10-meters had him in 4th place in the meet and also 22nd in the Nation
Next week the Bearcats will compete at KU and Pitt state. Athletes who have hit national marks will travel to Azusa California for the Bryan Clay Invite.
