Box Score Fulton. MO- The Bearcats swept the competition this Thursday and defeated William Woods University 4-0, bringing their season record up to 6-4.
The match was off to an exciting start with the doubles matches, withÂ
Marcio Silva and Juan Ignacio Morresi clinching a narrow victory in the #1 spot (7-6).Â

Bojan Radoman followed suit of this victory, dominating the competition and defeating their opponent in the #2 spot (6-1). However, the Bearcats struggled through the last match and fell at the #3 spot (0-6).
The Bearcats made their comeback in the singles matches, with Silva securing a victory at the #1 spot (6-2, 6-4).Â
Beneyto Sanchez continued the winning streak at the #2 spot, adding a point to the Bearcat total (6-4, 6-2). At the #3 spot, Bravo Diaz struggled through the first set but eventually found his rhythm and won his second set (4-6, 6-4). However, this match was abandoned as Morressi clinched the final point at the #4 spot, securing a Bearcat victory over William Woods. The matches at the #5 and #6 spot were also abandoned due to the Bearcats clinching victory.
The Bearcats will return to action on Saturday, April 12, as they face their rival, Drury University, at the Cooper Tennis Complex.
