Truman State scored two in the 3rd inning and one in the bottom of the 6th to tie things up heading into the 7th. Truman State however tied it up in the bottom half and added two more runs in the 8th to seal the victory.
Jaden Thacker started on the mound for the Bearcats, pitching just over two innings before Colin Whited, Ethan Clark, and Cade Langford used a committee approach to keep the Bulldogs at bay. Sam Peterson finished out the game and received the loss.
SBU will look to respond next weekend at home against Lincoln University, opening up with an evening game on Friday, April 4th at 5 PM.
