Rolla, Mo.- This weekend the Bearcats took to the road to open up the Outdoor season at Missouri S&T. There were several Bearcats that were able to make a splash even though this was just the beginning of the season.
Â
On Friday Senior
Dylan Coleman placed 2nd in the hammer throw, recording a monster personal best with a mark of 45.60m, 3
rd best at SBU. Continuing to Saturday, SBU record holder
Savannah Manthey hit a National qualifying mark in the Javelin. Her mark of 42.38 wasn't a personal best, but enough for a big first mark on the season and 2
nd place in the meet.
Â
Lily Hunsucker took to the track to run a personal record in the 1500m and get 3rd place with a time of 4:48.94. Also on the track was
Brianna Lord who took 3rd 400m dash with a time of 56.22, just off a National qualifying mark.
Â
The team will be at home next weekend March 28th and 29th for the Bearcat Invitational.
