Lawton, OK - The SBU men's tennis team traveled to Oklahoma to continue this week's action, grabbing their 6th win of the season as they defeated Cameron University 4-3.

To start off the doubles action, the duo of Marcio Silva and Jauni Morresi dropped a close match 5-7 in the #1 spot. Alejandro Bravo and Bojan Radoman won 7-6 for SBU in spot #2 to even it back up. To break the tie, Federico Riolo and Alejandro Beneyto won 6-3 in the #3 spot giving the Bearcats the 1-0 advantage. 

SBU continued to build on this advantage in the first 2 singles matches as Marcio Silva won at the #1 spot (6-3, 3-6, 6-4) and Alejandro Sanchez won (7-5, 6-3) at the #2. Cameron quickly made things interesting, taking wins in both the #3 and #4 spots. At the #3, Bojan Radoman played it close in the first set, ultimately losing in two (4-6, 2-6). Riolo falling in the #6 spot made it interesting as the game was tied at three, with the deciding match coming at the #5 spot. After dropping the first set (2-6), Morresi convincingly won the rest of the deciding match (6-0, 6-2), clinching the victory for Southwest Baptist.

The Bearcats will continue their play in Oklahoma tomorrow, March 13th, as they travel to Durant, OK to face off against Southeastern Oklahoma State University at 12:00pm.
