Indianapolis, IN – The Bearcats competed in the first day of the 2025 GLVC Indoor Championships Saturday.
Kelsey Crabtree placed third in the Pentathlon, earning the Bearcats their first points of the day. Her top results came in the long jump where she took second place, with her 800-meter run not far behind in 3
rd.
Most of the day consisted of preliminary races, with hopes of making it to Sunday's finals. The first Bearcat to qualify for the finals was freshman
Jaynae Pinder in the 60-meter hurdle.
Collinique Farrington pulled out another stunning performance, placing second in the 400 M Dash semifinal and first in the 200 M Dash. Also qualifying in the 200 M was
Stephanique Dean, each placing 1
st and 2
nd respectively. Their times were also National qualifying times that are 2
nd and 7
th best in the Nation.
The Bearcats will finish the GLVC Championships on Sunday.
