Maryville, MO - The SBU Women's track & field team continued competition on day two of the NWMS Bearcat Invite.
Senior
Collinique Farrington added another great accomplishment to her career by setting a new SBU record in the 60m, finishing 2nd with a time of 7.45 seconds. Another Bearcat also broke an SBU record in the 60-meter hurdles, this one by freshman
Jaynae Pinder with a time of 8.88 seconds.
Stephanique Dean also moved up to 4th in the record books in the 60m with a national qualifying mark of 7.56 seconds, good enough for a 5th place finish at the meet.
Also, for the 4x400m Relay,
Stephanique Dean,
Collinique Farrington,
Brianna Lord, and
Laura Dixon finished 1st and set a national qualifying mark with a time of 3:47.28.
The Bearcats will return to competition next Friday (14th) and Saturday (15th) as they travel to Pittsburg, KS for the PSU Gorilla Classic.
