Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Wichita Falls, TX- The SBU Softball team continued their season this Saturday with two games at the Mustang Roundup going 0-2 bringing their season record to 2-6.
 
Game 1 vs. Midwestern State University: L, 0-7
The game was off to a slow start throughout until Midwestern State's Jessicka Robert scored the first run in the bottom of the first inning. The Bearcats soon picked up the pace and scored their first hit at the top of the 5th inning by Graccee Godfrey. Angie Micone and Lexi Detwiler were other Bearcats to record a hit in the game. Leer pitched a majority of the game going for 5.2 innings, recording five strikeouts throughout the game. However, the Bearcats struggled to find the strength of their bats falling to the host school.
 
Game 2 vs. Fort Hays State University; L 0-10
The Bearcats ended the Mustang Roundup with their second and final game of the day against Fort Hays State University with a score of 0-10.
 
Southwest Baptist will return to action next Saturday as they have their home opener at the SBU Softball field. They will play host to Pitt State University in a doubleheader starting at 12 and 2.
