Bolivar, MO. -The SBU Women's Basketball team fell to the Missouri S&T Miners 54-67 Thursday night. This puts them at 8-15 (6-11 GLVC) for the season.

Despite a rought start to the first quarter, the Bearcats finished strong going on a nine-point run to end it, making it a one point game. Throughout the second and third quarter the Miners started to put more pressure on the Bearcats and began to break away with the lead. By the fourth quarter the Miners put the lead out of reach for the fighting Bearcats.

Tonight SBU was led by
LJ Boyland in points with 10. 10 different Bearcats entered the scoring column, with six scoring at least six points. Another leader for the Bearcats was
Bianca Oliver with six rebounds. She was followed by
Tori Hamilton with five. Although a tough loss for the Bearcats, they did beat their opponents out 18-8 in bench points.

The Bearcats will get to honor their seniors on Saturday, February 22 at 1:00 pm for senior day. They will battle their rivals of Drury Panthers in the Meyer Center. Â
