Bolivar, Mo. - The SBU men's basketball team started out strong but eventually fall to #11 nationally ranked Missouri S&T at home on Thursday evening. This moves them to 7-16 (4-13 GLVC)

The first half was nothing short of back and forth. The Bearcats created 6 lead changes and went into halftime within one point, despite the Miners shooting a nearly 60% from the field. The second half, the Miners showed why they were top of the nation and conference, pulling away from the Bearcats by as much as 22 points, extending their record to 21-3. SBU was also held to 40% shooting despite creating good looks for themselves.

Bayley Crawford captured a career high as he score a game high 21 points. Those points came efficiently, as he shot 9-15 from the field for 60%.
Jevin Sullivan also poured in 14 points along with 5 boards. Freshman
Brandon Moore also notched double figures with 10 points and five rebounds.

The Bearcats will return on Saturday as they host rival Drury this Saturday at 3pm in the Meyer Center for Senior Night.
