Springfield, Mo. – The SBU men's swim team continued their 2025-26 season Friday evening as they competed against Drury and William Jewell. In the second to final meet of the semester, they fell to these two strong GLVC schools.
 
Ian McCorkle had one of the top races for the Bearcats taking 10^th place in the 100 Yard IM beating out 28 other competitors. Okey Wagner had a strong showing in the 100 yard breast stroke with a 6^th place finish. The distance swimmers of Kale Jewers, Jaren Boozer, and Blaine Mitchel took 5^th, 6^th, and 7^th respectively in the 1000 yard free style.
 
The team will take a short break before competing one more time before the end of the semester.  This will take place on Friday, December 19^th at Missouri S&T against the Miners and Tritons, two GLVC schools.
