Rolla, Mo. – The SBU men's swim team competed against Missouri S&T and Missouri St. Louis (UMSL) Friday afternoon in their final meet of 2025, falling to both teams (30-168 vs S&T) and (37-161 vs UMSL).
 
Dewey Rodgers highlighted the day with a 6^th-place finish in the 100-yard backstroke while dropping .84 seconds from his entry time. Sophomore Ian McCorkle led all Bearcats in two separate events in 200-yard free (6^th) and 200-yard IM (8^th). Several other swimmers added top-10 finishes across the sprint and distance events.
 
The team will now head into Christmas break where they only have one more meet before the conference championships. On January 24^th, they will head back to Rolla to compete against the Miners and Hawks from Rockhurst.
