Springfield, Mo. - The SBU men's swimming team returned to action after just a week away competing at the Drury Invite Friday and Saturday. Competing against other GLVC teams, the Bearcats took 6th place with 172 points. 
 
The top performance of the weekend came from sophomore Ian McCorkle who had two top-10 finishes. The first came on Friday as he took 7th in the 500 Yard Freestyle race. The next best finish was one of the last events of the meet in the 200 yard butterfly. There he took 4th place earning the Bearcats 15 points.
 
Many Bearcats saw improvements in their entry time with one of those being Aidan Hahn in the 200 Yard IM who dropped 2.3 seconds from time. One group of swimmers all had big time drops showing the strides they have made as a Bearcat. In the 400 Yard IM Drew Baker, Kale Jewers, Aidan Hahn, and Allen Pringle each dropped over five seconds from their entry time.
