Kenosha, Wisc. – The SBU men's cross-country team concluded their 2025 season taking 21
st place at the NCAA Regionals. For the third season in a row the Bearcats finish at this place, this year with a score of 607 points.
Sophomore
Landon Duchscherer led the way for the Bearcats taking 87
th place. He made incredible strides from Freshman year, finishing 62 spots better. Not far behind was his brother
Gavin Duchscherer who took 103
rd in this years' Regional race 34 spots better than his junior season.
The third best run for the Bearcats was senior
Luke Urban finishing in 134
th adding to SBU point total. In 139
th was junior
Nathan Keck placing at his first Regional competition. The last point placer for SBU was
Nolan Hansen taking 144
th place, 26 spots better than last years.
That will conclude the cross-country season for SBU, though these runners are not done with the school year. They all will begin the track season in just under a month's time as the race at the Mel Tjeerdsma Classic on December 6
th.
