Bolivar, Mo. – SBU football wraps up their home slate Saturday afternoon on senior day against University of Indianapolis. The Greyhounds come into Bolivar ranked #12 in the Nation with an 8-1 record on a seven-game win streak and a perfect GLVC record. The Bearcats return to action after a week off, giving them extra time to prepare for this strong opponent.
Two weeks ago, Southwest Baptist hosted the Truman State Bulldogs, holding the GLVC preseason rank #2 team to a 16-27 score. Despite falling in the game, the Bearcats competed closely with one of the top teams in the conference. Senior

He leads the conference in receptions with 53 and yards with 823, but is second in touchdowns with 10. Only one touchdown behind the leader, he could overtake him to earn the prestigious award.
Defensively,
Ricky Woodhouse is leading the conference in total tackles, averaging 11.3 per game which also sits him at 8
th in the Nation. Even stronger than him is
Caleb Saner who is third in the Nation in tackles for loss with 1.94 per game. Sitting at 15.5 total on the season, he is only 5 away from breaking the SBU single season record.
The team coming to Plaster Stadium has had recent success in the conference, being the GLVC champs each of the past three years. This season, their only loss came to Findlay University with a 35-38 result in the second week of the season. They currently rank 3
rd in the Nation in total offense and 2
nd in the Nation in scoring offense. A strong game can be expected from quarterback Gavin Sukup who is second in passing efficiency in the Nation.
