Bolivar, Mo–The Southwest Baptist University men's cross-country team will return to Kenosha, Wisconsin, this weekend for the NCAA Midwest Regional Championships on Saturday, November 8. The Bearcats look to build on their recent performance at the GLVC Championships, where they finished 6th overall on October 25.
SBU is familiar with the Regional course, having competed there earlier this season at the Lucian Rosa Invitational on September 27, where they placed 20th in a competitive field. With that experience under their belt, the Bearcats are aiming to take a big step forward this time around.
Leading the charge for SBU will be Landen Duchscherer and his older brother
Gavin Duchscherer, who have consistently paced the Bearcats throughout the fall. A strong showing from the front pack will be key as the team looks to earn a spot in the NCAA Division II National Championships later this month.
