Women's Soccer Honors Seven on Senior Day

Bolivar, Mo. – The SBU women's team ended their 2025 campaign Sunday afternoon against Missouri S&T falling 0-2 finishing the season at 3-12-3 (1-10-3 GLVC). After the game concluded, the Bearcats got to honor their seven seniors for all they put into the program during their time as a Bearcat.
 
Jadyn Clark, from Parker Colorado, will be graduating with a double major in criminal Justice and Psychology. She played all four collegiate seasons at SBU in 51 total games. After graduation, she plans to join the academy to be a police officer in Bolivar.
 
Alyssa Villavicencio, from Burleson, Texas, will be graduating with her degree in exercise science. A four-year member of the Bearcats played in 49 games starting in 14 of those. After graduation, she plans on attending doctoral occupational therapy school in Texas.
 
Sam Short, from Imperial, Missouri, will be graduating with her bachelor's in business marketing. She played in 44 games, starting in 30 during her four-year career, including starting all 9 games she appeared in this year. She is one of the two SBU captains graduating this year.
 
Tamerra Gantt, from Olathe, Kansas, will be graduating with her degree in Psychology with an emphasis in sports. A fellow captain with Short, has scored 16 goals in her four-year career as a Bearcat. She is the only SBU women's soccer player to win the GLVC Offensive Player of the Week Award.
 
Maleah Hermann, from Overland Park, Kansas will be graduating with her bachelor of science of nursing with a minor in Spanish. She has been a crucial member to the team during her four-year career. After graduation, she plans to become either a pediatric ICU, NICU or Neuro Nurse at Mercy Hospital.
 
Holly Schneider, from O'Fallon, Illinois, will be graduating with her doctorate in physical therapy. She brought a spark to the team in just her one season with the Bearcats, including scoring a goal in her first game played in four years. After graduation, she plans to specialize in ACL tears and sports medicine.

Emilee Gorrell, from Canton, Missouri, will be graduating with her degree in exercise science. In her three years as a Bearcat she appeared in 24 games including a strong 21 minutes in the game today. After graduation, she plans to get her master's degree in strength & conditioning.
