Bolivar, MO– The Southwest Baptist Men's Soccer team returns home this weekend after a tough road trip that saw them tie one game and drop the other. With less than a month left in the regular season, the Bearcats are looking to finish strong and build momentum heading into the final stretch.
SBU will host two conference opponents at the SBU Soccer Field—Upper Iowa University on Friday, October 10th and Quincy University on Sunday, October 12th.
Upper Iowa enters the weekend with a (2-6-1) record, including an impressive win over then #23-ranked Lewis University on September 21st. Quincy University, meanwhile, comes in at (6-2-1) and sits near the top of the GLVC standings after a big victory against #8-ranked University of Indianapolis earlier this season.
The Bearcats are currently (4-6-1) overall and (1-5-1) in conference play. With two important home matches on deck, SBU will look to take advantage of familiar territory and make a late push in the GLVC standings.
