Bolivar, Mo. — This afternoon, Southwest Baptist University's men's soccer team fell to their rival Drury University. With a final score of 1-2 it brought them to 6-8-2 or a 3-7-2 for GLVC.
This wild battle began early into the game with two goals being scored in the first 15 minutes. The Panthers struck first in the 7th minute to take an early 0-1 lead. Seven minutes later, attack from the Bearcats ended in a penalty kick goal by senior
Fisher Hudak. The game remained tied until the 61st minute when the Panthers snuck a ball past SBU for the game winning goal.
