Liberty, Mo. - The SBU men's swimming team continued their season Friday afternoon against two GLVC teams of William Jewell and Missouri S&T.
 
Sophomore Ian McCorkle continued to put up great times with the best finish on the team throughout this meet. He took 2nd place in the 200-meter freestyle with a time of 1:57.64. He also swam the anchor in the 400-meter freestyle relay where his team took 2nd place, along with Okey Wagner, Dewey Rodgers, and Logan Meixner.
 
McCorkle was one of the two Bearcats to have a 3rd place finish in this meet in the 400-meter freestyle with a time of 4:18.96. Freshman Dewey Rodgers took 3rd place in the 50-meter freestyle with a time of 24.43
 
The Bearcats return to Bolivar to continue improving upon their times before they travel to Saint Louis, Mo. on Saturday, November 1 for their matchup against Saint Louis University and Rockhurst University.
