Bolivar, Mo. – The Bearcats have returned from Wisconsin after strong performances at the Lucian Rosa Invitational. The men's and women's cross-country teams are hustling in practice in preparation for the Chile Pepper Festival on Saturday, October 4. 
 
While in Wisconsin last weekend, the Bearcats had the opportunity to compete where regionals will be held, giving an advantage to all who will advance to regionals this season. The men's team finished 20th overall, while the women's team placed 15th overall, which is an impressive rank amidst their high-level competition. 
 
With conference championships only three weeks away both teams are looking forward to building more towards that meet. This weekend they will work to make their mark at the Chile Pepper Festival at University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas on October 4th. The men will race at 10:25am and the women will race at 11:00am. Stay tuned for more updates as the Bearcats begin their next competition.
