Warrensburg, MO. - The women's track team was back in action this week at the UCM Invite. The Bearcats took 2
nd place out of eight teams at the meet, beating out the only two GLVC teams in attendance.

Two big marks were hit by the Bearcats in the meet with the duo sprinters of
Collinique Farrington and
Stephanique Dean. Farrington broke the SBU record in the 600-yard run with a time of 1:24.85. Dean hit a big National mark in the 200-meter dash with a time of 24.47, 12
th best in the Nation.

Other Bearcats had great finishes including
Laura Dixon and
Sierra Wallace finishing in the top three in the 400-meter run, with Dixon taking 1
st.
Paige Franks won the 800-meter run with teammate
Kadence Wallace coming in 2
nd right behind her. Another senior
Olivia Littleton won the 3,000-meter run hitting a time of 10:35.16.

The Bearcats will take to the track again next Saturday, February 1
st at Pitt State.Â
