St. Louis, Mo. – The SBU men's basketball team ended their 3-game road trip Monday evening as they fell to the Tritons 65-71. That moves them to 6-7 (3-4 GLVC) on the season.
It was a game of runs, with each team going back and forth combining for six lead changes. The end of the 1
st half favored the Bearcats as they went on an 11-0 run heading into the locker room. In half two, the Bearcats held a 50-47 before a 12-0 run by the Tritons gave them the final lead of the game.
Freshman
Barron Silsby had career day scoring 15 total points off an impressive 5-7 from beyond the arc. His 71% shooting was a career high to go along with his one assist, rebound, and steal. For the 4

Drenin Dinkins notched over 20 points with 21 tonight along with his perfect 6-6 from the charity stripe. Senior
David Hector almost had another double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds.
The Bearcats will return home this upcoming Thursday as they play host to the Illinois-Springfield Prairie Stars. The game is scheduled to take place at 7:30pm in the Meyer Center.
