Bolivar, Mo. – The SBU men's soccer team continued their busy week Tuesday afternoon as they hosted the Mission University Patriots. The Bearcats took down their opponents 1-0 to claim their first win of the season moving to 1-1-1 on the season.
 
The Bearcats lone goal came in the 64^th minute when Senior Callum Bisset notched his first goal as a Bearcat on a penalty kick goal. That goal along with junior Dawson Sozio's clean sheet handed SBU the 1-0 victory. Despite only a one goal win, the Bearcats controlled most of the match out shooting the Patriots 18-7.
 
Southwest Baptist men's soccer will return to action on Thursday as they host Colorado Christian University. The Bearcats will look to extend their winning streak at the SBU Soccer Field with a 2:00pm kickoff.
