BOLIVAR, MO. – The Southwest Baptist University Athletic Department continues to make strides in the world of NIL, partnering with Influxer. This will give SBU students the opportunity to monetize their name, image, and likeness (NIL) with personalized jerseys, shorts, and other apparel.
"The NIL landscape is constantly evolving and working with Clark Sheehy has been an amazing opportunity to see the vision they have for Southwest Baptist University, providing great options through Influxer for their student- athletes. They see this as not simply a transactional opportunity, but as an opportunity to develop long term skills for life." stated Influxer Vice President Keith Miller.
Influxer is an officially licensed vendor, creating co-branded apparel customized with players' names and numbers. Through this partnership, Influxer will provide education and training on marketing, entrepreneurship, and personal branding.
Every Southwest Baptist student-athlete will have the opportunity to create his or her own web page that offers personalized gear available for purchase. In addition to the online store, the Influxer team oversees all fulfillment and customer service, while collaborating with SBU and its student-athletes on creative elements and marketing.
Influxer is partnered with more than 300 universities, including Oklahoma, LSU, Houston and SMU.
Bearcat fans can purchase SBU branded gear from Influxer starting August 1st.
