Springfield, Mo. - Southwest Baptist University's beach volleyball team wrapped up their season with a doubleheader Saturday at Missouri State University. The Bearcats faced tough competition against the MSU Bears and the Ottowa University Otters, ending their season on a challenging note with losses in both matches, with a record of 5-16.
 
In their first match against the MSU Bears, Gabby Belcher and Bailey Lasater showed great determination, pushing the Bears to three sets before ultimately falling short. The Bearcats fell to Missouri State 0-5.
 
However, the Bearcats found redemption in their second match against Ottowa University. Belcher and Lasater showcased their skills and teamwork, securing a satisfying win at the #1 spot with impressive scores of 21-16 and 21-15. Despite their victory, the whole team fell to the Otters 1-5, concluding their season.
