Bolivar, Mo. – The SBU baseball team continued their series against the Saints Saturday afternoon in a doubleheader. The Bearcats fell in both games moving to 9-24 (6-13 GLVC) on the season.
An early 1-0 lead in game one was not enough as the Bearcats fell to the Saints 3-8.
Cayden Shaver launched his second home run of the season in the third inning to put SBU up 1-0.
Dominic Tellez and
Sterling Jackson also recorded an RBI in the game.
Zeke Skinner had a team high two hits on the game.
Skinner continued his hitting prowess into game two of the day going two of three and hitting his second home run of the weekend. Now with 28 career home runs he is three away from breaking the SBU career record.
The Bearcats will finish their series against the Saints Sunday afternoon in Bolivar, Missouri. First pitch is scheduled for 1:00pm at Dodson field.
