Pittsburg, Kan. – The SBU men's track and field team concluded their regular season Saturday as they competed at the PSU Tune-Up.
Devon McMillin highlighted the day taking 1
st place in the 800-meter run. His time of 1:53.89 was 8
th best in SBU history. McMillin joined
Kaleb Nail, Luther Supancic, and
Gavin Duchscherer in the 4x400-meter relay where they collectively took 3
rd place with a time of 3:28.53. Four Bearcats took top12 in the 1500-meter run with Collins Kiplagat leading the way taking 6
th. Behind him was Duchscherer (8
th),
Evan Smith (11
th), and
Nolan Hansen (12
th).
Brayden Housh also had a good day taking 5
th in the 110-meter hurdles, prepping him for the decathlon.
Southwest Baptist will now take a week off before heading to the GLVC championship meet. This championship will take place at Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri May 2
nd through the 4
th.
