Box Score Bolivar, Mo. – The SBU men's tennis team hosted the Drury Panthers for senior day Saturday afternoon. The Bearcats fell to the Panthers 2-5 moving to 6-12 on the season.
Southwest Baptist were unable to obtain the doubles point despite Alejandra Beneyto Sanchez and
Pedro Pinto winning at the #2 spot 6-4. Pinto continued to have a good outing on the day as he claimed the first point for the Bearcats at the #5 spot winning in the third set. Senior
Fabian Neff, battled back from a first set loss to claim SBU's second point at the #6 spot.
The Bearcats were also able to honor three seniors who had been with the program for the last four years. They were able to recognize
Ilyes Khelifi from Paris, France,
Youssef Nabil from Cairo, Egypt, and
Fabian Neff from Frankfurt, Germany.
SBU men's tennis will conclude their regular season on Saturday, April 27
th as they travel to Quincy University. The match is scheduled to begin at 11:00am.
