Fayetteville, Ark. – The SBU women's track and field team competed at the John McDonell Invitational at University of Arkansas Friday. Two Bearcats hit National qualifying marks on the day.
 
Senior Parker Love highlighted the day taking 1^st place in the 200-meter dash beating out numerous Division I athletes. His time of 20.72 was a school record and a National mark that is currently ranked 3^rd in Division II.
 
Troy Davidson also had a strong day hitting a National mark in the 800-meter run. He had a season best running a time of 1:50.63, which is ranked 25^th in the Nation. This time was 4^th best at the John McDonell Invitational.
 
The team will continue their season Saturday as they compete at Pittsburg State.
