Box Score Bolivar, Mo. – The SBU men's tennis team began GLVC play Friday afternoon as they hosted the William Jewell Cardinals. The Bearcats swept past their Divisional rivals beating them down 7-0. They move to 5-11 (1-0 GLVC) on the season.
 
The Bearcats started out with a challenge as the #1 & #2 spots split against the Cardinals putting the doubles point on the #3 spot. Alejandro Bravo Diaz and Bryson Crowell leaped to the challenge as they secured the point winning 6-3.
 
It was pure domination in singles from the #2 to #6 spots as all Bearcats won their match in two sets. Fabian Neff had the biggest win only allowing his opponent to win two sets. Alejandro Beneyto Sanchez and Pedro Pinto each won their match while their opponents won three total sets. Youssef Nabil had a big win for himself as he defeated the 34^th ranked single in the Nation in the #1 spot.
 
Southwest Baptist Men's Tennis will return to action Saturday morning as they host the Rockhurst Hawks. The game is schedule for 11:00am at the John Bryant Tennis Center in Bolivar, Missouri.
