Box Score St. Joseph, Mo. – The SBU men's tennis team continued their season today as they took on the #28 ranked Northwest Missouri Bearcats. The Southwest Baptist Bearcats fell by a final score of 1-4 moving to 3-5 on the season.
SBU fell in the #2 and #3 spots in doubles, to drop the doubles point.
Ilyes Khelifi took control of his opponent in the #4 spot, claiming the only point for SBU after winning 7-6 & 6-3.
Fabian Neff fought hard against his matchup in the #5 spot but fell in the third set giving Northwest their 4
th and match clinching point.
Southwest Baptist will look to bounce back next Friday, March 15
th, as they host the University of Nebraska-Kearney. This game will be played at John A. Bryant Tennis Center at 11:00 AM.
