Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Springfield, Mo. – The SBU softball team continued their season today as they battled two separate opponents. The Bearcats swept the day getting two big wins over Nebraska Kearney and Minnesota Duluth moving to 8-10 on the season.

"It was so exciting to see the team clicking on all cylinders today. I love seeing the way they pick each other up and rally around each other." – Head Coach Tripp Swisher said.
 
In game one, Emma Kreisel continued to show why she is the Bearcats ace as she pitched on six innings only allowing one hit. She struck out seven batters as she recorded her fourth win of the season.  Emma Vincent and Angelina Micone led the team in hits with two on the day, with Vincent recording an RBI. Audrey Rahlmann, Hayley Sites, and Rylee Lunn also recorded RBI's in the game. Margo Frossard had an impressive career high three stolen bases on the game.
 
In game two, the Bearcats took on Minnesota Duluth who was undefeated (6-0) against GLVC teams coming into this game. The Bearcats ended that streak as they won the game 4-3. Southwest Baptist took the lead in the 6^th inning off a Micone base hit scoring Rylee Lunn for the game winner.
 
"Today was definitely all Glory to God! The team showed up today against two good teams and we definitely battled and showed our heart!" Paige Leithead said, "I have phenomenal teammates who made some great plays and timely hits behind me today! Couldn't be more blessed!"
 
Southwest Baptist will return to action next weekend as they host Stephens college in Bolivar Missouri next Friday. First pitch will happen at 2:00pm at the SBU softball field.
