Bolivar, Mo. – The SBU men's basketball team finished their season today as they hosted the Upper Iowa Peacocks on Senior day. The Bearcats led for majority of the game but fell in the end 68-78, finishing the season 6-22 (2-18 GLVC).
 
The Bearcats were able to honor their one senior, #20 Ayden Stone. He spent the last three years as a member of the SBU men's basketball team contributing to a conference championship in 2022. Head Coach Aaron Niven had this to say about the senior "Ayden has been a pleasure to coach. He is one of the hardest working players I have ever coached, and his team first attitude has truly been a blessing for our program! We are grateful to all the work Ayden has put into this program!"
 
Stone went out with a bang scoring a season high 10 points off 50% shooting. He also contributed six rebounds and two blocks in the game.
