Box Score Arkadelphia, Ark. – The SBU men's tennis team continued their trip in Arkansas today as they battled Delta State University. The Bearcats entered the win column after a 4-1 victory over the Statesmen, moving to 1-1 on the season.
 
The top duo of Youseff Nabil and Ilyes Khelifi remained undefeated in the #1 spot as they took down their opponents 6-4. It was the Bearcat newcomers of Alejandro Beneyto and Bojan Radoman who clinched the doubles point for SBU winning at the #2 spot 7-6.
 
Senior Nabil gave SBU their second point of the match as he thrashed his opponent 6-0, 6-2 putting SBU up 2-0. Just over 20 minutes later Fabian Neff gave the Bearcats their third point by defeating his opponent in the #4 spot 6-3, 6-1. It was senior Ilyes Khelifi who clinched the win for SBU after defeating his opponent in the 3^rd set, 6-1. Freshman Bojan Radoman won his match in the #5 spot giving SBU their 5^th point of the game.
 
SBU will wrap up their time in Arkansas tomorrow as they play Southern Arkansas University. The Bearcats won this matchup last year 5-2.
