Bolivar, Mo. – The SBU men's basketball team looked for a season sweep against the Drury Panthers in the Meyer Center this afternoon. Despite taking an early 7-0 lead, the Bearcats fell to the Panthers by a final score of 66-79. They move to 6-14 (2-10 GLVC) on the season.
 
David Hector scored a career high of 16 points off 50% shooting to go along with his four rebounds, three assists, and one steal. Fellow starter and transfer Sasha Glushkov also scored a career high 13 points after making two out of three shots from beyond the arc. Glushkov used his height to protect the rim recording five blocks. Sophomore Drenin Dinkins came off the bench scoring his 7^th straight double dight scoring game.
 
Southwest Baptist men's basketball will return to conference play this coming Thursday as they hit the road traveling up North. They will head to Liberty, Missouri to take on the William Jewell Cardinals for the second time this season. Tip-off is scheduled for Thursday, February 8^th at 7:30pm.
