Bolivar, Mo. – The SBU Women's Basketball team was back in action today as they faced off against the Truman State Bulldogs for the second time this season. The Bearcats came out on top as they dominated the Bulldogs to an 88-74 win making them 11-16 (7-14 GLVC) on the season.
The Bearcats were led by Karlee Holland who was on a roll tonight as she set a new career-high in points with 26 while going an impressive 9-11 from the field and 4-6 from the three-point line. Milena Fromming was also close to setting a new career-high in points as she contributed 11 points and 6 rebounds for the Bearcats. Kallyn Stumbo also led SBU in rebounds and assists as she recorded 9 rebounds and 5 assists to go with her 7 points and 1 steal.
Southwest Baptist will be back in action for the last time this season as they host the Upper Iowa Peacocks for the Bearcats Senior Day on Saturday. Tip-off is set for 1:00 PM at the Meyer Sports Center with senior celebrations occurring between the women's and men's basketball game.
