Ozark, Mo. – The SBU beach volleyball team continued their opening weekend in Ozark as they battled two more tough teams. The Bearcats fell in both games moving to 1-3 on the season.
In game one, they took on University of Louisiana-Monroe and fell to them 0-5. In game two, University of Texas at Martin took down the Bearcats also winning all five points.
 
The Bearcats will return to action on Tuesday as they travel to the University of Nebraska. This will be a great opportunity as they get to take on the Division I indoor National runner up. The Cornhuskers had one of the most infamous seasons in women's volleyball history as they broke numerous attendance records and made it to the National Championship game. Now in beach, the Bearcats will get to take on many of the same members as that 2^nd place team. The game will take place in Lincoln, Nebraska with a scheduled start of 10:00am.
