Box Score St. Louis, Mo. – The SBU men's tennis team traveled to St. Louis to take on Washington University in St. Louis. The Bearcats fell to the #9 ranked team in Division III by a final score of 3-5, moving to 2-3 on the season.
 
It was consistent across the board as the Bearcats fell in all three spots 3-6. The Star duo of Ilyes Khelifi and Youssef Nabil lost their first match of the year.
 
Khelifi took his skills to singles winning his game in the #3 spot in the third set 7-5, giving SBU one of their points. The other point came from Fabian Neff who suffered a loss in set the first set but fought back winning the next two.
 
Southwest Baptist will return to action in two weeks as they travel to Arkansas to take on Harding University. The match will take place on Friday March 1^st at 2:00 pm.
