Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Bentonville, Ark. – The SBU softball team returned to action today as they took on two MIAA foes Newman University and Missouri Southern. The Bearcats fell in both games moving to 0-4 on the season.
 
The Bearcats scored five runs total on the day, three against the Jets and two against the Nationally recognized Lions. Two RBI's came from junior Margo Frossard, her first two of the season. Senior Chloee Sams had three total hits on the day giving her four on the season.
 
Southwest Baptist will return to action this Thursday as they will host Mission University. The doubleheader will take place at the SBU softball field beginning at 2:00pm.
