BEARCAT HIGHLIGHTS
 
Women's Basketball
Senior Odett Schlegl is leading all Bearcats in scoring with 49 points so far this season, the most in the first three games since 2019. She is shooting an impressive 42.3% from the three-point line making 11 so far this year, currently 12^th in the Nation. Pounding the glass for SBU is senior Tori Hamilton who is averaging 8.7 rebounds per game and has 15 offensive boards, 9^th in the Nation.
 
Men's Basketball
Graduate guard Mitch Ganote is off and running in his return as a Bearcat. So far this season he is leading the team in points (36), Assists (15), steals (7), and 3-PT FG (5). It took him just two games to break the SBU career assists record and is only 14 steals away from breaking that record. Division I transfer Jevin Sullivan is already making a big impact averaging a near double-double of 13.5 PPG and 9.5 RPG.
