Women's Volleyball
The Bearcats are coming off a historic weekend for their program. It started on Friday as they beat Rockhurst for the first time since 1987. Then continued Saturday as junior
Ella Rademaker became the first Bearcat since 2010 to record 1,000 career kills. She just needs 30 more kills in the last two games to break the SBU single season kill record. Sophomore
Rory Stanley also made history earning SBU's first ever GLVC defensive player of the week award.

With the two wins this last weekend, Rademaker and her teammates put them at 4-7 in GLVC play. This is a 4-way tie for 8
th place within the conference, with the top-8 teams making it to the GLVC tournament. This weekend they head to St. Louis to battle Missouri-St. Louis and McKendree with hopes of making program history.

Women's Basketball
Led by senior
Odett Schlegl, the Bearcats showed their resilience in the season opener as kept it a close ending against Ferris State. Trailing by 21 with 5:30 to go in the game, they brought it to within 4 with a 1:30 to go, giving them a chance for the heroic comeback. The team showed their shooting capabilities hitting 11 three pointers in the game, currently tied for 4
th in the Nation. Schlegl is tied for 3
rd in the Nation knocking down five from beyond the arc.

Men's Basketball
The Bearcats return to the hardwood with a new yet veteran squad looking to fit all the right pieces together for a successful season. Graduate student guard and 2x 1
st-Team All-GLVC
Mitch Ganote returns as one of the top point guards in the country. Star scorer
Drenin Dinkins, the team's leading scorer from last year, scored 22 points in the exhibition game against Missouri State.

Football
In the last game against the Hawks, sophomore
Ricky Woodhouse was on the verge of winning the GLVC defensive player of the week award. He fell just shy despite recording 15 total tackles and returning a recovered fumble for a 75-yard touchdown. Senior
Jordan Kent went out with a bang recording 90 total yards off two receptions, on top of a 64-yard kickoff return.
