Bearcats Draw Cardinals in High Scoring Game

Bolivar, Mo - The SBU Women's soccer team picked back up into conference action this Friday afternoon, facing William Jewell College. The Bearcats moved to an overall record of 1-9-3 (1-7-2 in the GLVC) after a 3-3 draw with the Cardinals.

William Jewell got ahead early, putting up 2 on the board in the first 45. SBU also managed to put one in the back of the net, with Junior Tamerra Gantt moving the score to 1-2 heading into the second half.

The Cardinals found another goal off of a free kick shortly into the final 45, but the Bearcats answered back.
