Fayette, Iowa - The SBU Men's soccer team wrapped up their road conference weekend, facing Upper Iowa University. The Bearcats fell to the Peacocks in a 0-2 loss, putting them at 2-8-3 on the season, 1-7-1 in conference.

The SBU defense held Upper Iowa at bay in the first half, keeping the score 0-0. After a slew of penalties in the second half - including 3 cards on one play - the Peacocks put one on the board on an indirect kick outside the 6 yard box. Upper Iowa put another in the net later on, ending the game at 0-2.

SBU had a total of 8 shots, with a Shots on Goal Percentage of 50%. Shots by Victor Valero (2), Giovanni Cascone, Roland Ngoy, Emilio Linares, Alex Maraelle, Hugo Lopes, and Asman Mohamed.

The Bearcats will return to action on Friday, October 13th as they face William Jewell College. The game will take place in Bolivar, Mo. at SBU Soccer Field with a kickoff scheduled for 1:30 pm.
