Warrensburg, Mo. – The SBU men's track and field team had a full day of competition as they added to their flame they built last weekend. Numerous Bearcats had top finishes at the UCM invite in Warrensburg, Missouri.
This week they littered the top 5 with purple with many high-ranking finishes. These finishes include: Braden Housh placing 5th in pole vault with a mark of 4.20 meters. In the 60-meter dash,
Parker Love ran a 7.01 good enough for 5
th place. In the 600-yard run, senior
Troy Davidson cruised past all of his competitors for a top finish with a time of 1:15.
Luke Urban and
Trevor Maxville took also finished in the top 5, placing 5
th and 3
rd respectively. Finally, the boys 4x4 relay comprised of
Troy Davidson,
Parker Love,
Chase Thomas-Plummer, and
Caden Kirksey took 5th with a time of 3:36.
The team will return next weekend as they head back to Pitt State to compete in the Wendy's PSU Invite. The meet will take place on Saturday, January 27
th at the Robert W Plaster Center.
