Kirksville, Mo. – The SBU men's basketball team began a two-game road trip this evening as the took on the Bulldogs of Truman State. Despite 10 different Bearcats scoring they fell to the Bulldogs 58-84. They move to 5-11 (1-7 GLVC) on the season.
Drew McMillin led the team in scoring with 10 points going 5-10 from the field.
Drenin Dinkins was next in scoring with 11 total points, while continuing his impressive streak from the free throw line going 4-4. He is now shooting at 93.8% on the season. Sophomore
Sasha Glushkov had a near double-double with 8 rebounds and 7 points. The Bearcats dominated the glass out rebounding the Bulldogs by 11.
They will return to action on Saturday as they travel up North to the GLVC newest team in Upper Iowa. Tip off is scheduled for 3:00pm in Fayette, Iowa.
